Here’s aces of the writer goofing up and trying to save himself in the edit. My original concept was the guy captured had snuck into the building earlier and planted a bomb when the school was empty. The gunfire was to keep everyone in the building when it was fully occupied. That’s not how I described the panels, and the artist didn’t follow my poorly executed intention. That’s not what matters. What matters is breaking her powers. She can only see the history of an item. She can only follow the history of the shirt the shooter was wearing. So she couldn’t see the other guy as drawn. I did what I could to cover it with the passing of a shirt the shooter touched. I think it works. But it bugs me. I may pay for a redraw for the printed version. The artists aren’t wrong. I am as the writer.
